The Junior Rangers program was implemented at
the National Garden Park from March through
June 2022 with support from Australia Awards.
30 children, aged 12-18, from 14 schools in the
underdeveloped district areas were selected for
this program. Lessons on endangered species,
tree planting, forests and desertification, among
others, were taught in weekly classes.
The rangers also initiated and implemented
environmentally friendly projects in their schools
and communities.
